Overview

This is the SUNY Brockport’s Annual Security Report (ASR), required by the Clery Act. The purpose of this report is to provide SUNY Brockport’s faculty, staff and students with campus safety information, including three-years of crime statistics, as well as the procedures on how to report a crime. This report is also available for prospective employees and prospective students, along with their parents/guardians.

Introduction

This report is filed by SUNY Brockport as required by the federal Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (the Clery Act). The purpose of this report is to provide SUNY Brockport faculty, staff and students with campus safety information, including crime statistics and procedures to follow to report a crime. This report is a collaborative effort between the offices of University Police, Residential Life, Student Conduct and Title IX. All crime statistics are the result of University Police reports and reports made to Residential Life, Student Conduct, Title IX, and other offices listed as Campus Security Authorities (see section I.A. below). This report is also available for prospective employees and students, along with their parents/guardians.
