A mini-grant program that provides investment for initiatives that reflect SUNY Brockport’s investment in mental health and wellness. A limited number of mini-grants, up to $2500.
Eagle Cares Center
Comprehensive web-based center with seven categories of concerns pertaining to: academics, mental health, physical health, financial, spiritual, sex, and relationships.
Wellness/Relaxation Outdoor Spaces
These locations were chosen because they are areas near the residence halls that are easily accessible, but are also green spaces that are wooded and quiet, an appropriate location for wellness and relaxation.
LGBTQIA Center
The allocation of funds to retrofit the physical spaces overseen by Prevention and Outreach Services to better serve our LGBTQIA+ students on campus.
Meditation & Relaxation Rooms (Res Life)
The meditation room in residence halls to provide a quiet space for students to relax and reflect.
Commuter Lounge Enhancements
Located on the lower level of the Seymour Union, the Commuter Lounge is equipped with couches and chairs for you to relax, study, or socialize with friends. The lounge is actively used throughout the year and could benefit from enhancement.
Wellness Room - Hazen
Space and accommodations needed to conduct successful group therapy programs. The following proposal is for the allocation of funds to redesign physical space in the Hazen Center for Integrated Care Counseling Center to better serve the needs of our students
