Academic Employees are entitled to either 13 or 26 payroll periods of full health coverage at the employee share of health cost.
- Employees who work one semester during the academic year receive 13 payroll periods of coverage, employees who work both semesters have a 26 payroll period entitlement.
- The 13 or 26 pay period entitlement begins from the effective date of your coverage.
Graduate and Teaching Assistants
- Graduate and Teaching Assistants have summer coverage available to them providing they expect to return to the payroll in the Fall of the following academic year.
