A Rochester, NY native, Kellie Barbato was thrilled to join SUNY Brockport in January of 2024 after living in 4 different states and working at 4 different institutions in service of her career in academic librarianship. As Head of Research & Instruction Services in the Drake Memorial Library, Kellie is honored to lead the team of librarians who provide individual research assistance to students and information literacy instruction to classes. Kellie also participates in providing these services to the SUNY Brockport community as a librarian.

In her free time, Kellie likes to travel, attend concerts & sporting events, read books, play video games on Nintendo consoles, sing in choir at church (Asbury First United Methodist), and spend time with friends, family, and her partner and their two cats, Prince & Simba.
