Policy Procedures

 Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex.

Harassment on the basis of sex is a violation of Section 703 of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended. It is, therefore, the policy of the State University of New York University at Brockport to provide an academic and work environment free of discriminatory intimidation, whether based on sex, race, religion, or national origin.

Discriminatory acts shall be prohibited in the conduct of University services for students as such services affect housing, employment, financial aid, admissions, advisement, counseling, placement, academic progress, scholarships and awards and program activities.
