Policy Procedures

Newly accepted students are required to register for at least one graduate course in their first semester of matriculation. Failure to do so will result in being dematriculated from the University. If a newly accepted student is not able to begin their studies in their first semester, they may request a deferral of admission in writing (deferral forms are available on The Graduate School webpage). Deferral forms should be provided to The Graduate School before the start of the student’s first semester. Deferrals are considered for a maximum of one year. The student will be contacted once the request is approved.
