    In collaboration with summer research students and students doing independent research projects, pursuing the synthesis and evaluation of novel diaryl telluride antioxidants, and the development of homogeneous catalytic systems for application to remediation of aryl chlorides such as PCB’s.

    Supervised two students in independent research projects involving antioxidant synthesis and water-soluble dyes.

    Principal Scientist: Developed new chemistry and materials for traditional clinical chemistry assays and immunoassays: dyes, ionophores, haptens, stabilizers.
  • Eastman Kodak Company, Rochester, New York 1982 - 1992
    Senior Research Scientist: Collaborated with the Sterling-Winthrop Pharmaceutical Research Division in the design and synthesis of matrix metalloproteinase inhibitors and neurokinin receptor inhibitors. Designed and synthesized sensitizing dyes.
