Bio
Earning his undergraduate degree from the SUNY Brockport and his Master of Business Administration from the William E. Simon School of Business at the University of Rochester, Dave has spent more than 25 years in executive leadership and commercial banking roles.
In his role as President and CEO of Precision Optical Transceivers, Dave oversees the Rochester based company which is focused on optical transceivers and related active/passive optical components. The company has helped build communications networks around the globe by providing high quality, custom-engineered optical product solutions.
Prior to joining Precision, Dave spent 12 years at Genesee Regional Bank (GRB) as its’ Chief Lending Officer. He was responsible for the bank’s commercial lending and deposit activities. As a member of the executive team, he served on GRB’s loan, loan review, risk, pricing and technology committees.
Prior to GRB, Dave spent 10 years at M&T Bank in the Commercial Banking Group. For 5 years he led M&T’s Commercial Equipment Leasing team operating throughout New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Virginia.
Dave also gives his time and talent back to the community and currently serves as a Board Member and Finance/Audit Committee member of Bivona Child Advocacy Center. He had previously served as a Board Member and Loan Committee Chair of the Monroe County Industrial Development Corporation, as well as Treasurer of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Rochester and Board Member of the Town of Victor Parks and Recreation.
