  • State (New York State Broadcasters Association) and national (National Association of Collegiate Broadcasters, College Broadcasters, Inc., College Media Association and Broadcast Education Association) organizations have recognized the radio station for its achievements 48 times in the last 34 years including in competition with professional stations.
  • Received Joel Willer Award from College Broadcasters, Inc. (CBI) in recognition for exceptional dedication and service to student electronic media. (October 2015)
  • Received “Outstanding Service to the College” award by Brockport in 2015 “
  • Received Outstanding Service Award from CBI (October 2013)
  • Student Organization Advisor of the Year Award in 2018 and 2013
  • 2001 Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Professional Service (May 2002)
  • Awarded second place in Radio Promotion in 2002, International Broadcast Educators Association Festival of Film, Video and Media Arts.
  • President of CBI for two terms (Oct. 2001-2003, August 2007-Nov. 2010); past president (Dec. 2010-present)
