Crystal Hallenbeck has worked at SUNY Brockport since May 2006. Her career at the University began in the Office of Student Accounts and Accounting where she was employed as a staff accountant for five and a half years. In 2012, she transitioned to the Budgeting Office where she assumed the role of Senior Financial Analyst, and in 2014, became Director of Budgeting.
As Director of Budgeting, Hallenbeck is responsible for the annual setup, creation, and monitoring of budgets for the campus. She and other Budget Office staff help to ensure that appropriate allocations are in place for departments, expenditures are charged appropriately, and that financial reports are produced in a timely manner. She oversees the University’s faculty and staff salary pools and is in charge of various SUNY financial reports, including revenue/expenditure projections for the campus.
