Bio
In 2006, Lyndsay completed her Master’s Degree in Communication from SUNY Brockport. After graduating, she moved to Charlotte, North Carolina where she held several positions in Higher Education. Lyndsay has been teaching Communication courses since 2006, served as Chair of the Communications and Foreign Languages department at RCCC, and has over 10 years of online teaching experience. Outside of teaching, Lyndsay participated in, and led, various distance education initiatives focused on developing accessible, ADA compliant online courses for the institution. Lyndsay mentored faculty teaching online and hybrid courses, served as an online course reviewer for the institution, and provided Blackboard, and course development, support to faculty teaching distance education courses. Through this work, Lyndsay was able to gain valuable experience in the areas of instructional design, instructional technologies, and curriculum development.
Outside of work, Lyndsay enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters, and family in her hometown of Penfield, NY.
