Bio

Dr. Bloom has been teaching at SUNY Brockport since 2001. She was hired as a Theatre Generalist and teaches a variety of classes. She has presented at ATHE conferences regularly since 1997 and has eight published journal articles. Her book Rape, Rage, and Feminism in Contemporary American Drama was published in 2016. She acts regularly in Rochester, both onstage and as a voice-over performer. Her scholarly areas of interest are the scholarship of teaching and learning and feminist issues in theatre.Dr. Bloom has been teaching at SUNY Brockport since 2001.
