Bio
Margy Meath joined the MSW faculty as an adjunct professor in 2009 and a full time Visiting Assistant Professor in 2011. She received her BSW from Nazareth College and MSW from Syracuse University, and has over 30 years of experience working in the health and mental health field in a variety of administrative, supervisory and service positions. Professor Meath also works as a consultant and trainer providing a wide range of workshops and trainings to public and private not-for-profit professionals, organizations and teams across New York and beyond. Professor Meath has a special interest in the topics of mental health recovery, person-centered planning, organizational development, supervision, leadership and hospice. Professor Meath currently teaches Practice I, Interdisciplinary Health Practice III and IV, Diagnostic Process, and Advanced Standing Integrative Seminar.
