Bio
Dr. Annette Grape joined the faculty as an Adjunct Professor in 2016 and as full time Assistant Professor in 2018. She holds a BA in Psychology from Indiana University, an MSW with a concentration in Children and Families from Syracuse University and a doctoral degree in Health Practice Research from the University of Rochester. Prior to coming to SUNY Brockport, Dr. Grape was research faculty at the University of Rochester School of Nursing implementing a multi-site asthma self-management program to urban adolescents. She has over 25 years experience working with at risk youth and families in the mental health field in a variety of community based services as provider, supervisor and administrator. Her research interests are in mental health service delivery to adolescents with behavioral and emotional struggles, evidenced-based practice and social work preparedness. Dr. Grape teaches Human Behavior in the Social Environment I & II and Research Methods.
