Research Interests

My research focuses on the dynamics of change in international politics

I explore how, through specific driving forces, the dynamics of history recurrently produce new paradigms and herald new epochs. I examine state actors’ responses to the exigencies of incoming new epochal paradigms and their differential rates of success, which produce the equally recurrent epochal shift in the hierarchy of world powers.
