Ashton Raduns grew up in Western New York. She graduated from University at Buffalo’s (UB) traditional Bachelor of Science Nursing program in 2008. Her first job was at Erie County Medical Center on a medical-surgical unit. She then transitioned to an outpatient setting working for a foster care agency. Since becoming an Adult Nurse Practitioner in 2013 Ashton has worked in primary care, long-term care, and rehab. Her advanced degree also allowed her to be adjunct faculty at UB in their Family Nurse Practitioner program for a semester.

Ashton began her academic career working at Genesee Valley Educational Partnership in 2010 in their Licensed Practical Nurse program where she has experience with clinical, lab/simulation, classroom teaching, and concept maps. She joined the RN-BSN team at Brockport in the spring of 2019. She is also adjunct faculty at Genesee Community College.
