D’Arcy Gaisser, DNP, MS, RN, ANP-BC, CNE

Dr. Gaisser earned an Associate Degree in Nursing from Alfred State College in 1984. She has practiced in many areas of nursing including long term care, acute care, cardiology, and research. While working at the University of Rochester she earned her BSN in 2004, Adult Nurse Practitioner degree in 2006, and Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in 2014.
D’Arcy has worked in Nursing Education at the University of Rochester teaching in the RN to BSN, Second Degree, and Nurse Practitioner programs. In 2015 she became an Assistant Professor at SUNY Brockport. She continues to be involved in research and publication as well as professional organizations and is a strong supporter of the BSN in 10.
Her hobbies include house restoration projects, power walking, and spending time with family.
