Angela Fox began her health care career during high school when she completed her Certified Nurse Assistant certification. After graduation, she then worked as a home health care aide while she attended nursing school at Genesee Community College and completed her associates degree in nursing in 2009.

She started her nursing career on a medical-surgical/ orthopedic unit at Strong Memorial Hospital. Angela then followed her passion for maternity nursing and worked at Highland Hospital. She completed her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Roberts Wesleyan College in 2013.

After Angela had her first child, she decided to leave the acute care setting and become a Professional School Nurse at her alma mater. Angela discovered her passion for education while working as a School Nurse and decided to continue her education and returned to Roberts Wesleyan College where she received her Master’s in Nursing Education in 2017. Angela’s graduate project focused on her interest in evidenced-based nursing education through high fidelity simulation. Angela worked at Genesee Valley Educational Partnership- Adult Education during this time teaching Practical Nursing students in the classroom, lab and clinical settings.

Angela has always been enthusiastic about nursing and is excited to share her knowledge with others. She is currently a Nursing Lab Instructor at the College of Brockport.

Outside of teaching, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three young children who keep her active! She also enjoys finding time for reading, cooking, gardening, and just having fun with family and friends.
