Bio
Dr. Bach joined the Department of Nursing at SUNY Brockport in the spring of 2021. Dr. Bach grew up in Ireland and moved to Buffalo in 1981. She spent five years working as a nursing assistant as she completed her associate degree before earning her bachelor’s and masters degrees. She then worked as a Certified Nurse Midwife at Kaleida Health and private practice in the Buffalo area.
Wanting to provide full medical care for her patients, she returned to SUNY Stony Brook and completed a post master’s certificate and continued her career at SUNY Buffalo Student Health Services as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Dr. Bach is an ASCCP certified colposcopist. She earned her DNP from SUNY Buffalo with scholarship on reducing barriers to achieving a healthy weight among college students.
Dr. Bach served as a clinical instructor for DNP FNP students, as well as the accelerated bachelor’s degree program in labor and delivery, mother-baby unit, and neonatal intensive care nursery. In her spare time, Dr. Bach enjoys playing tennis and spending time with her grandchildren.
