Bob Schneider came to Brockport in 1996. A prolific scholar, he has amassed over 60 peer-reviewed presentations in various high caliber academic journals and has conducted over 85 academic presentations in numerous countries throughout the world. An avid sports fan and former college basketball coach, He enjoys attending championship events such as the men’s Final Four basketball tournament, major university post season football bowl games, Major League Baseball’s World Series, and the Olympic Games.

Scholarship
As a professor of sport management, and the sport management program coordinator at SUNY Brockport, State University of New York (SUNY), Dr. Schneider is the sole author of two research-oriented textbooks: Ethics of Sport: Theory, Practice, and Application (2009), and Basketball for All Levels (2008) and is the co-editor of a third sport related textbook: Entrepreneurship and Small Businesses: A Balkan’s Perspective (2013). He is the author or coauthor of over 80 peer-reviewed national or international academic journal articles, book chapters, or proceedings, and over 140 presentations worldwide, spanning across 25 countries including recent presentations in Iran, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Russia, China, Cuba, and India. Dr. Schneider serves as a reviewer on 12 editorial boards including the International Journal of Sport Management, Sport Management Education Journal, and the Sport Management International Journal Choregia.
