  • My master’s thesis focused on the newspaper coverage of the same-sex weddings that took place in San Francisco and Boston in 2004. I studied the content of 13 newspapers across the country to examine the coverage of the LGBT community during that time frame; scouring every item from the news section to the sports pages.
