Title: Fall 2021 Study Abroad Suspended & Remote International Internships Available

Date: May 25, 2021
Summary: After careful consideration, New York State has made the difficult decision to cancel all Fall 2021 SUNY Study Abroad Programs due to uncertainties with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. In response, the Center for Global Education and Engagement will be offering a remote international internship opportunity.
Body:

Despite the ongoing challenges, the Center for Global Education & Engagement (CGEE) believes in the importance of international experiences. To that end, in Fall 2020, the CGEE developed a virtual program available to Brockport students during Winter 2020/2021 and Spring 2021 and will continue to offer this program for Fall 2021. The Remote International Internship program will allow students the chance to engage in a meaningful, global opportunity and earn credit from the comfort and safety of their home, all for a comparable cost to taking regular Brockport classes.
