Title: Thank You for your Input on the Middle States Self-Study Draft
The Steering Committee for Middle States reaccreditation wishes to thank the College community for providing valuable input on the draft Self-Study Report during the Town Halls and through the online forms and other means. Comments ranged from specific, needed corrections to insightful, big-picture perspectives on our shared efforts toward continuous improvement.
The Steering Committee closely reviewed all comments pertaining to strengths, challenges, and recommendations to take a comprehensive approach to revise those points. Additionally, the chair and vice-chair of each standard working group, together with the Self-Study Leadership Team, closely reviewed all chapter-specific comments to identify opportunities for additions, clarifications, or other improvements in our presentation of evidence. Some comments submitted with reference to one chapter were also reviewed by other relevant chapters.
Your time and good faith in submitting feedback have made a tremendous contribution to both the success of the reaccreditation effort and to the role that the Self-Study plays in ongoing College conversations about how best to promote student success within a thriving College community.
Future drafts of the Self-Study Report will be reviewed by Cabinet and the chair of the external Evaluation Team before being finalized for submission to Middle States in the winter of 2021-22. We will keep the College community apprised of these developments and our plans to welcome the external Evaluation Team in spring 2022.
