This is especially true for books you’ve received via Interlibrary Loan from other institutions. Drake Library is billed replacement cost for items not returned to other libraries. This costs money we don’t have with our current budget situation. We’d much rather see our limited funds available for purchasing books, ebooks, journals, databases, and other resources for all our patrons to use.
