Dr. Amy Shema, Professor of Education and Human Development and Director of SummerLEAP, and Aracely Hernandez, SummerLEAP graduate assistant, presented at the Critical Questions in Education Conference in Charleston, SC.
Their presentation addressed the benefits of non-traditional field experiences in teacher preparation programs in order to assist teacher candidates with making the shift from a student mindset to a teacher mindset.
