Migrant Student Activities Coordinator & Educator Position Available

A Research Foundation for SUNY position with the Migrant Education Program.

The New York State Migrant Education Program is a Title I, Part C federally mandated program that provides supplemental educational services to the children of migratory agricultural workers. The NYS-MEP utilizes a multifaceted and interdependent approach of subject content and instruction, advocacy to self-advocacy, and positive identity development that is grounded in the trusting migrant educator-student-parent relationship. The Migrant Student Activities Coordinator and Educator will provide positive youth development through the planning of events and direct in person/virtual instructional services to migrant eligible youth through assessing needs, mentoring, tutoring, advocacy, referrals, college and career planning, and support services in student homes, in-school, and libraries, etc. in Monroe, Orleans, and Niagara Counties, following the NYS MEP Service Delivery Plan.

This position is a Research Foundation for The State University of New York (RF) position and is subject to The Research Foundation for SUNY policies and procedures, sponsor guidelines, and the availability of funding.
