Dr. Christine Hopple (Associate Professor) and Derrick Biehl (Adjunct Lecturer) from the Department of Kinesiology, Sport Studies, and Physical Education (KSSPE) along with graduate students Coby Albone and Katie Ziemba and undergraduate students Danielle Gatto, Erin O’Brien, Desiree Palmatier, and Olivia Schaeber presented an activity-based session at the New York State Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance annual conference in Verona, NY.
The presentation was titled, “The ‘GIF’ That Keeps On Giving-Instant Activities You (and your students) Will Love!” The presentation focused on the incorporation of technology and “Gamification” into the elementary Physical Education classroom.
