Summary: Please encourage students completing papers and projects this semester to apply for the 2021-22 Library Research Awards. Applications will be open from December 1, 2021 – February 14, 2022.

The Friends of Drake Library (FODL) will be awarding prizes of $500 for First, $300 for Second, and $150 for Third place papers/projects. The contest is open to Brockport matriculated undergraduate students. Contest submissions, written in Spring, Summer, or Fall 2021 will be collected from December 1, 2021 through midnight on February 14, 2022. Prizes awarded in April 2022.
Winning papers should demonstrate extensive scholarly and creative use of information resources. Authors must explain how their work demonstrates rigorous, innovative, and/or unique approaches to engaging with library collections, resources, and staff.
