Updates to the Committee

  • Fall 2022 Broad Based Fee Request Status
    • SUNY Board of Trustees met on July 28, 2022 and voted to keep all state-operated campus tuition rates and board-based fees flat at 2021-22 level resulting in no approved increase for Fall 2022.
    • SUNY is developing a new process for increase requests for 2023-24
  • Summer 2022 Course Fee Requests:
    • $2,000 New, ESC 477 Storm Chasing
      • Denied by President’s Cabinet
    • $1,925 New, GEL 490 – Geology Field Camp
      • Submitted and Approved by SUNY, subject to Hardship Waiver Policy
  • Fall 2022 Course Fee Requests - Approved:
    • Increase from $25 to $75, ART 210 Two-Dimensional Art Fee
    • Increase from $30 to $80, ART 221 Drawing I Art Fee
    • $50 New, PES 534 Therapeutic Agents Fee
      • Remove fee from PEP 358 Basic Athletic Training
    • $70 New, PES 547 Taping and Wound Care in Athletic Training
  • Fall 2022 Course Fee Requests - Denied:
    • $25 New, ART 215: Digital Foundations
    • $30 New, PBH 312: Mental Health
      • Both denied as the cost associated have been deemed routine materials (textbooks, etc.) and are not permitted per the fee policy
  • Spring 2023 Course Fee Requests - Pending:
    • Name Change and Increase by $10, to be $30, PES 533 Therapeutic Interventions I
    • New $100, PES 545 Clinical Experience in Athletic Training II
