Community Ambassadors (CAs) play an essential role in the success of the Office of Community Development. More than just student employees, they are relied upon to further our mission of preparing students to be civic-minded leaders who possess the knowledge, skills, and values to engage fully in their communities.

What do Community Ambassadors do?

  • Assist with large-scale campus initiatives including Saturday of Service, campus move-in, Brock the Vote Campaign, Annual Student Leadership Conference, Trash to Treasure, and many others
  • Partner with another CA to plan and implement two Democratic Engagement Tables each semester, during which they educate peers about community issues and empower them to take action
  • Utilize social media (Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram) to provide non-partisan education on a variety of community issues and promote events
