The MS in Accounting is a specialized program for students pursing traditional careers in public accounting, management accounting and government. The fall 2017 class includes a diverse group of students from a wide range of private and public undergraduate institutions.

Student Success Outcomes

SUNY Brockport is one of approximately 150 schools across the globe to have introduced a Bloomberg Financial Markets Lab on campus, allowing students to earn the Bloomberg Essentials Training Program and the Bloomberg Market Concepts certification that integrates classroom theory and real-world practice. Approximately 50-60 students, mostly finance majors, receive certification each academic year.

Employment

Based on responses from 2017 undergraduates, 81% report having achieved either employment in their chosen field, or admittance to graduate school at the time of graduation.
