What You’ll Learn

You’ll be prepared to care for complex patients, families, and communities within inter-disciplinary teams. Students engage in both classroom and clinical experiences in the Rochester area and even have the opportunity to learn in places like Peru and Costa Rica. The program uses summer classes to help you obtain a degree in 15 months.

  • Curriculum

We prepare professional nurses who can meet the health care needs of a culturally diverse society. We do this by combining a rigorous academic curriculum with stimulating clinical experiences, all of which are guided by dedicated faculty members.

  • Admission Requirements

Applications for admission to the summer of 2023 class are being reviewed on a rolling basis. The first round of decision letters will be sent on or before December 1, 2022. Interested candidates are encouraged to reach out to Dr. Karilee Bingham, Director of the Accelerated BSN program, at kbingham@brockport.edu.

Current Brockport students or previous Brockport graduates must complete the Second Degree Readmittance Application. Students who have a bachelor’s degree from an institution other than SUNY Brockport should complete the SUNY application.

Upon receipt of either the SUNY or Second Degree Readmittance Application, applicants will be notified via email from the Office of Admissions, and directed to their application portal. Upon notification, students are directed to log into their portal to access and complete the required ABSN Secondary Application and ABSN Professional Statement. Personal and/or professional references or letters of recommendation are not accepted.

With further questions, please contact Dr. Karilee Bingham.
