The Department of Modern Languages and Cultures is proud to announce the innovative Language Certificate. SUNY Brockport is the only SUNY school to offer this type of program.
What is it?
A Language Certificate is a nationally recognized and officially SUNY sanctioned recognition of proficiency in a language (either French or Spanish for Brockport). It is an important step toward global citizenship, and it provides tangible evidence to future employers of your language proficiency.
How do you earn it?
You must complete 15 credits in the designated language, beyond the introductory level. For example, this may include 211, 212 and two 300-level courses.
