Career Outlook
At a time when accusations of “fake news” abound, journalists who write clearly and verify what their sources are saying are increasingly important. The skills taught in the minor, succinct writing and presentation, communication with multiple media platforms, media law and ethics, and critical thinking, are transferable to many jobs.
