Curriculum
Inside the classroom, you can expect to learn analytical, critical, and creative thinking skills. We focus on the theory and practice of criminal justice systems. You’ll develop a deep understanding of the causes, consequences, and control of crime and criminal behavior.
Beyond the classroom, you’ll have opportunities for hands-on experiences via an internship, study abroad, and extra-curricula.

Double Major in Criminal Justice and Sociology
Cooperative ventures between the Departments of Sociology and Criminal Justice enable students to easily complete two majors before graduation. Having a second major on the academic transcript indicates additional breadth of knowledge in the investigation of social problems and issues, which can enhance employment opportunities.
