Professional Certification
There are instances where you may be applying for a certification and you have not completed an Approved Teacher Preparation Program. In these cases, you will not submit a Recommendation Form or use a program code. One example of not needing to submit the recommendation form or use a program code is applying for Professional Certification if you did not complete a graduate program leading to that certification.

The following requirements must be completed within five years of the issue date of your Initial Certificate.
