What You’ll Learn
The great thing about graphic design is its diverse employment opportunities. You can potentially take your minor and use it towards a graphic design career in many different fields (i.e. for nonprofit organizations, small businesses, political campaigns).
Our minor in graphic design will teach you the basics as well as allow you to gear your studies towards what specifically interests you.

Curriculum
The minor is an 18-credit program. Students take 12-credits (classes) of required introductory coursework. There are 6 additional elective credits (2 courses).
One of the most important courses you may choose to take is Portfolio and Professional Practices. Faculty work with students to help build their portfolio and explore career options.

Admission Requirements
We recommend submitting first-year applications in October or early November. The University decides your admission once you complete your application.
