Prerequisite Courses

  • WMS 101 is prerequisite for 300 and 400 level courses.

Further Recommendations

Three additional electives (9 credits) are required from approved, cross-listed WMS courses for a total of 36 credits in the major. Courses must be chosen with advisement. Students are advised to take WMS 101 Introduction to Women and Gender Studies first, as it provides the foundation for content courses in the major. WMS 411 Feminist Research Methods should be taken after WMS 101, 271, and 409 are completed.
