Biochemistry


Chemistry courses must be taken in order. Students need to be aware of the sequential and interrelated nature of the courses in chemistry, mathematics and physics.

Prerequisite Courses

CHM 467, MTH 202, and PHS 235 or 240 are prerequisites for CHM 404 (taken in either the junior or senior year). CHM 306 is prerequisite for CHM 467 (taken in either the junior or senior year).

Depending on a student’s goals and interests, the major can be tailored to accommodate courses that are most appropriate. This should be done through discussion with the student’s advisor.
