We have been made aware that the third-party vendor that manages our campus event ticketing, “AudienceView” (formerly known as “University Tickets”), has experienced a potential security breach. If you purchased tickets online in the month of February through BSG or our Fine Arts Series using a credit card, your credit card information may have been compromised.
SUNY Brockport Information Technology Services is evaluating the scope of this potential third-party data breach, which is being felt nationwide, and its impact on members of our community. Out of an abundance of caution, SUNY Brockport has suspended all online ticket sales.
If you purchased tickets through BSG or our Fine Art Series in the month of February, you should receive a communication from AudienceView with more information and instructions. Please review this communication carefully.
We encourage anyone who has purchased tickets in February to check your credit card statements immediately and contact your banking institutions regarding any suspicious activity.
