About the PED Grant (Promoting Excellence in Diversity Grant)
The Promoting Excellence in Diversity (PED) Grant supports proposals from faculty and staff for scholarly and artistic events that contribute to the University’s mission to promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and educational excellence. The PED Grant promotes intellectual activities that will engage our community in conversations about diversity issues, prepare our campus community for leadership in a diverse world, and increase respect and understanding of differences based on knowledge and shared experiences.
The PED grant is open to Brockport faculty and staff. Applicants can apply and receive one grant per academic year.
The deadlines for 2023‒2024 are as follows:
- October 27, 2023 (Spring 2024 events)
The maximum award through this program is $1000. Requests for smaller amounts are encouraged.
