About the Rose Archives

The Rose Archives is housed on the ground floor of the Drake Memorial Library. It tells the story of the University from its inception as a private “academy” in 1835 through the present day.

The Archives has an entire online resource dedicated to portraying our the history of the University. If you are unable to visit the archives in person, our digital resources can help you understand the depth of our history.
